TVNZ 1's Matty McLean shares the first photos from his "perfect" wedding day

Congratulations are in order for Breakfast presenter Matty McLean ...

The much-loved TV star has tied the knot with his long-term partner Ryan Teece!

Taking to Instagram, McLean shared the first photos from his wedding at Auckland's Parihoa Farm on New Year’s Eve. 

The photo, which shows the newlyweds beaming at the camera with a glass of champagne in hand, was captioned: "I married my best man and it was the best day ever and I’m so happy and I can’t stop talking about it and the photos are amazing and holy s*** I get to spend the rest of my life with him - you’re stuck with me now @ryanteece!

"Our wedding day was so perfect - plenty more details to come.

McLean and Teece met on Tinder and had their first date at a suburban pub six years ago.

Teece proposed to McLean in February last year.
