Whoopi Goldberg reunites Sister Act 2 choir to perform 'Oh Happy Day' and 'Joyful, Joyful' for 30th anniversary

To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Sister Act 2, legendary actress Whoopi Goldberg got the choir back together to sing once again.
Sister Act 2: Back In The Habit celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, and the cast has recently reunited on The View for a special performance of Oh Happy Day and Joyful, Joyful.
The Oscar-winning actress broke down in tears as she reunited with stars like Kathy Najimy, Wendy Makkena, and Sheryl Lee Ralph, as well as crew members from the 1993 film.
Whoopi appeared in her nun outfit, joining the choir. Her daughter, Alex Martin who played a classroom child in the film, was also in the choir.
The choir was joined by students from the LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.
Tanya Trotter took over the solo performance at the beginning of Joyful, Joyful in Lauryn Hill’s absence and her voice gave us chills.

Sister Act was first released in 1992, with its sequel released a year later in 1993. Sister Act became a box office hit, grossing $232 million worldwide.
A third instalment of the series, Sister Act 3: Kicking the Habit, has been announced and is set to star Whoopi Bette Midler and Keke Palmer, according to IMDb.
