It’s been nearly 15 years since the world first heard Bridget Jones read from her diary, and now it’s time for Renee Zellweger’s popular character to grace our screens once again - and she’s still up to her old shenanigans.
While Mark Darcy died in Helen Fielding’s latest novel, in the movie he’s alive and well and played by Colin Firth. Hugh Grant is out, but Jones’ new love interest is no-less interesting. Patrick Dempsey has stepped up to play one third of the love triangle.
The stars of 'Bridget Jone’s Baby', sat down for exclusive interviews with Entertainment Weekly giving inside details about the upcoming installment in the series.
The latest film will jump ahead in time to 10 years after the events of 2004’s The Edge of Reason, and will recount the trials and tribulations of the British singleton as she struggles to figure out whether longtime beau Mark Darcy (Firth) or billionaire Mark Qwant (Dempsey) is the father of her child.
We're happy to see Zellweger is looking more like her usual self again after attracting some critical attention in 2014 with her appearance at the Elle Magazine Women in Hollywood Awards.
