Renee Wright reveals what she thinks is the actual recipe for KFC secret recipe fried chicken

On this day in 1952, the American fast food restaurant chain Kentucky Fried Chicken opened its first franchise in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Renee Wright - who is currently filling in for Bernie while she's on holiday - has discovered what she believes is the exact recipe for KFC ... except it's not exactly a recipe, it's actually a store-bought seasoning packet.

Judging by the expression on our in-house KFC expert Jason's face when tasting it - we think she might have hit the nail on the head!
