Toni's solution to beat the traffic is questionable

Toni left 45 minutes early for what would usually be a 25 minute trip.

But, in typical Auckland fashion, she was faced with a mountain of traffic and knew she wouldn't get the kids to theatre practice on time if she took the main road. 

So, she chose the backroads, only to find roadworks. 

With time still ticking, she thought on her feet and told a little white lie to the roadworker.
