This was Heatwave's debut single and was written by Rod Temperton. The song became one of the best-known disco songs by a British group and charted at #2 in both the UK Singles Chart as well as the Billboard Hot 100.
The song reached number 1 in New Zealand in 1976, and was certified platinum by the RIAA.
