Lorna chats with Loving Vincent director Hugh Welchman

Loving Vincent is biographical drama about the life (and death) of painter Vincent van Gogh - and the first fully painted animated feature film, with each of the film's 65,000 frames an oil painting on canvas, using the same technique as Van Gogh, created by a team of 125 painters.

It's written and directed by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman, and won Best Animated Feature Film Award at the European Film Awards. It's also been nominated for Best Animated Feature at this year's Oscars.
