Lorna chats with The Monkees' Mike Nesmith

They went on to talk about the formation of the Monkees; why he loved live performing and his special friendship with Micky Dolenz; why Cruisin' (Lucy and Ramona and Sunset Sam) was a huge hit in NZ but nowhere else; and why he considered our own Neil Finn one of the top ten songwriters of all time!

Nesmith passed away from heart failure at his home in Carmel Valley, California, on Friday. He was 78.
