Lorna Riley shares health update 18 days post-double mastectomy

Lorna Riley has shared a health update 18 days post-double mastectomy.

She is now 18 days post-double mastectomy and says she’s “stoked to be up and about." She’s receiving incredible care—not just from the medical professionals but also from her dedicated "pseudo-medical team" (shoutout to Mike, Lucy, and Zoe!).

She’s still aiming to return to work in a couple of weeks, but as the saying goes, when it rains, it pours. Alongside her recovery, she also received an abnormal smear test result.

"So I had to go and have a colposcopy this week. Unrelated to the Brca2 gene, cervical cancer, so if it turned out that I had something, it would be an incredibly bad coincidence. 

But, thrilled to say that despite the procedure being a little uncomfortable, everything looked perfectly normal, so yeah, yay! Glad to just be normal for once. 

So fingers crossed once I recover from the surgery completely, That should be it. Hopefully forever."
