Wellington: Coolest Little Capital in the World

This weekend, Wellington celebrates 150 years of being our capital city. 

In this short film made by Richard Sidey while he was studying at Massey University, Wellington is given the 'time-scape' treatment. Clouds scud by in hyper-time-lapse and slow-motion, and Wellington landmarks (harbour, bucket fountain, turbine etc) are seen anew, cut to a soundtrack by percussion group Strike. Aeon won best student film at the American Conservation Film Festival 2007.
