Former US Marine George Hood has set a new planking world record.
According to Yahoo News, the 62-year-old held the correct position for an astonishing eight hours, 15 minutes and 15 seconds to write his name in the history books.
Posted on Saturday, the astonishing feat will take its place in the Guinness Book of World Records for "Longest Male Abdominal Plank".
Hood was able to surpass the former mark of Chinese police officer Mao Weidong by almost 14 minutes.
The event took place as part of a fundraising competition in Illinois to raise awareness of mental wellbeing.
A couple of weeks ago, Mel and JT attempted to plank for as long as possible, unfortunately, they did not break any world records!
