On a recent episode of the much-loved quiz show, viewers were left stunned after contestant Mike had an incredible record-breaking cash-builder round.

The airline consultant even left host Bradley Walsh gobsmacked when he managed to win £11,000 in the first round - after answering every single question correctly.

This meant Mike had got ELEVEN questions right in just 60 seconds!

Following the exciting round, Walsh exclaimed: "That's unbelievable. That was amazing!"

Mike, shocked by his result, gasped: "Wow."

And fans were loving it. Taking to social media, one viewer wrote: "11k in the cash builder without getting a question wrong? Mike is gonna give the chaser a run for their money today!"

Another added: "This Mike is on another level to anything I’ve seen before."

"Mike just scored £11,000 in the cash builder. To say that's crazy is an understatement," a third said.

Mike was joined by Anne-Marie and Alex as they competed for a combined total of £21,000 in the final Chase against Paul Sinha.

The team managed to build up 19 steps, however, with just a few seconds to go The Sinnerman managed to cinch the win.
