Aussie woman goes viral with her super simple hack to avoid mess when making fairy bread

It's been an iconic staple at Kiwi kids' birthday parties for as long as we can remember - but it can also be incredibly messy to make.

One Australian woman is going viral after she revealed her super simple food hack to avoid spilling hundreds and thousands all over the kitchen bench when making fairy bread.

Instead of the usual method of pouring the sprinkles onto buttered bread, the woman, known only as Sarah, demonstrated a much easier way.

Simply fill a square container with hundreds and thousands, grab a slice of bread and put it butter side down into the colourful sprinkles.

"It has come to my attention that people have been pouring sprinkles on," she wrote on the clip.

"Look! No mess," she added while showing a close-up of the bread evenly covered with hundreds and thousands.

Unsurprisingly, her video has clocked more than 1.5 million views on TikTok.

So simple. So genius.
