It may only be October... but it's never too early to get excited for Christmas!
And now everyone's favourite family board game (Monopoly) has teamed up with everyone's favourite Christmas movie (Elf), so we can get into the spirit of Christmas now.
In the festive version, you’ll join Buddy on a jolly jaunt across New York City as he explores new locations, looks for his dad and ultimately saves Christmas.
The family-friendly game features renamed iconic characters, locations, and quotes from the much-loved festive film.
In keeping with the theme, the Monopoly: Elf game tokens have been given a movie makeover: including Santa’s Sleigh, Polar Bear Cub, Jack-in-the-Box, Mailroom Coffee Mug, Santa’s Bag and Maple Syrup.
The houses are renamed apartments, hotels are renamed skyscrapers, Community Chest Cards are now Christmas Cheer cards and Chance Cards are Christmas Spirit cards.
Players are invited to "buy, sell, and trade your way to Christmas Cheer and Christmas Spirit to be the last one standing in this collectable version of Monopoly".
The game will be available on Amazon for $39.88 closer to Christmas, so keep checking back.
