Christmas Cocktails: Golden Dream

If you're looking for a desert cocktail this festive season, why not try this recipe for a Golden Dream?

Recently, Lorna and our newsreader Brin headed along to The Hilton and Bellini Bar's Mixology Masterclass to learn how to shake, stir, and strain three cocktails and enjoy them alongside a gorgeous selection of snacks.

The Golden Dream is the final of three cocktails that Manuel took them through how to make, and it was paired with a silken tofu fritter with banana & chai sugar.

While we don't have the recipe for the silken tofu fritter to share with you, we do have the Golden Dream recipe. Plus, check out this video of Lorna & Brin trying to recreate it! 

Ingredients:

  • 30ml Licor 43 (known as Cuarenta Tres in Spain)
  • 25ml Cointreau
  • 40ml Orange Juice
  • 30ml Cream

Method:

  • Add the ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  • Shake well.
  • Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  • Serve and enjoy!

This creamy cocktail is perfect to serve as desert this festive season. You can also skip the cream and shaking and instead blend the ingredients with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a frozen treat.
