Relive Andy Gibb's flawless live performance of the Bee Gees' 'Words'

It might be a Saturday, but we're throwing it back to 1981 to when Andy Gibb gave fans a special rendition of the iconic Bee Gees song 'Words.'

Putting his own spin on his brother's 1968 hit at the Command Performance - a two-hour TV special tribute to President and Mrs Ronald Reagan - the then 23-years-old's vocals are truly spine-tingling.

The youngest Gibb brother fought a battle with drug addiction all of his life and would eventually succumb to it, dying from a heart attack caused by cocaine use when he was just 30-years-old.

He is buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles.
