The Chase viewers were left on the edge of their seats during a recent episode of the much-loved game show.
Facing off against Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan, Dan was able to make history by winning a massive £80,000 in the nail-biting final round.
After his fellow contestants - Toby, Annabelle and Sarah - were knocked out in the individual head-to-head rounds, Dan was left on his lonesome.
Although he initially only bagged £5,000 in the cash builder, he decided to take a big risk and try his luck at the high offer of £80,000, saying: "What have I got to lose?"
And the risk paid off, because espite standing at the podium solo, Dan built up 16 correct answers, and with three successful pushbacks, he was crowned the winner!
