The top 10 highest grossing biopics of all time have have been released

The new Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown, has entered the list of the 10 highest-grossing music biopics of all time, only a couple of months after it's US release.

The film, which was only released in New Zealand at the end of January, has already surpassed several iconic biopics, including Tina Turner’s What’s Love Got to Do With It, The Notorious B.I.G’s Notorious, Judy Garland’s Judy, Mozart’s Amadeus, and Fanny Brice’s Funny Girl.

It has also jumped ahead of La Bamba, All Eyez on Me, Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” Coal Miner’s Daughter, and Jersey Boys.

The highest-grossing music biopic of all time is Bohemian Rhapsody, which earned a staggering $910.8 million worldwide. It is followed by Elvis, Straight Outta Compton, and Rocketman.

    We're expecting to see this biopic, which has been in the works since 2019, in April this year. Michael Jackson will be portrayed by his nephew, Jaafar Jackson.

    This will be not one, but four different films, each from the perspective of one of the four Beatles about “certain famous scenes from their lives.” It is not known if the movies will be released together or staggered.
