Will Smith is still feeling the effects of the Oscars slap

It's been two years since the infamous 'Will Smith Oscars Moment' happened and Will Smith is still paying for it.

According to Variety, the Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation's revenue decreased from USD 1,760,000 in 2020 and USD 2,138,660 in 2021 to just USD 365,870 in 2022... an 83% decrease. 

It's reported that the Smith family were already planning to wind down the foundation before the incident and will still donate the same amount to charitable causes privately.

Following the fallout from the slap, Will resigned from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The Academy's board of directors banned him from all Oscar-related events for 10 years.
