Bradley Walsh left speechless after The Chase contestant excitedly walks off set

Bradley Walsh was left utterly bewildered on a recent episode of The Chase when one contestant excitedly rushed off set, leaving the host standing on his own.

Facing off against chaser Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan, the adorable Thora managed to get through to the final after accumulating £1,000 in the cash builder round - an accomplishment she was thrilled about.

Caught up in the moment following her win against the quizmaster, Thora quickly marched her way back to her seat on the contestants' panel to eagerly await the final chase.

As she scurried away, Thora waved to the popular host while shouting: "I can't believe it!"

The ITV star - who had turned to congratulate her - was completely thrown off his routine, visibly expressing his confusion.

Realising her error following his disappearing act, she then walked back to the host and thanked him for his help.

Viewers were left in hysterics over the blunder, with many taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on Thora.

"Omg that lady Thora on The Chase is the most adorable contestant ever," one said.

Another tweeted: "You don’t dismiss yourself, Thora!"

"I don't care if she took the lower offer, Thora's f****** awesome," added a third.

While a fourth commented: "Thora was so funny, as was @BradleyWalsh's banter. We fell off the sofa as we were laughing so much."

"Thora your over-excitedness to get back has got you a place on the Chase bloopers. Always wait for Bradders lol," shared someone else.

Unfortunately, the team’s effort wasn't enough tonight as The Vixen caught them with 33 seconds to spare in the final chase.
