Following on from the success of the biopic Rocketman, Elton John and Taron Egerton are at it again!
The 72-year-old music legend and the actor who plays him in the musical have released the official video for their new duet titled '(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again' - and we are absolutely loving it!
The funky and colourful music video features the pair recording and working on the upbeat song, in addition to footage of Egerton playing John in the film and a series of old photos of John.
The song, which plays during the closing credits of Rocketman, was written by Sir Elton and his writing partner of more than 50 years, Bernie Taupin.
"I wanted to write a song that Taron and I could sing," Elton told GMA of the duet.
"It’s really fantastic. I’m so happy. It sounds like an old end of ’60s, early ’70s song. He sings it brilliantly, and I’m glad we’ve got something on record together."
The 29-year-old actor – who is best known for his roles in Kingsman, Sing and Eddie The Eagle – sings every song in the movie as he portrays a young flamboyant Elton.
In fact, John himself thinks Taron sings his songs better than anyone else.
"When I watch the movie, I don’t see an actor," John said. "I see myself. And that is an extraordinary thing for an actor to do. He has given a million per cent of him in this performance."
The film, which is directed by Dexter Fletcher, takes a look into the legendary musician's influential career and at the highs and lows of his personal life.
Taron, who landed the role after Tom Hardy pulled out, said it has been the greatest joy of his professional life.
Rocketman also stars actors Richard Madden, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jamie Bell and Gemma Jones.
