Michael Bublé's emotional 'Forever Now' video about kids growing up is tugging at parents' hearts

If there's one thing parents have in common, it's that their kids grow up too quickly.

And Michael Bublé's latest video for his song 'Forever Now' has parents everywhere sobbing for that very reason.

While it's not a new song, the music video, which was released in March this year, has recently gone viral for making parents feel some pretty big emotions.

The lyrics of the sweet tune tells the story of how a parent immediately falls in love with their child when it's born, how the parent is there to teach and protect them, and how the parent will still be there when it's time for the child to start life on their own.

The time-lapse video opens to an empty bedroom. Slowly, it fills with moving boxes, then a crib, a chair, a dresser — a beautiful little nursery.

As the three-minute 41-second video continues, the bedroom changes: the crib leaves for a big-kid bed, toys appear and disappear, a desk arrives for homework, a laundry basket for chores. Then, toward the end of the video, the moving boxes return and the room is empty once again.

On Twitter, people were quick to share their reactions to the moving video, with many warning their fellow parents to have some tissues nearby if they decide to watch.

Bublé is currently on his An Evening with Michael Bublé tour, which is his first time on the road since announcing his six-year-old son Noah had been diagnosed with cancer in 2016.
