This heartfelt "Slow Down" video will make every mum cry just in time for Mother’s Day

This ode to childhoods that go by way too fast is touching the hearts of mums everywhere - and it’s easy to see why!

Nichole Nordeman’s song 'Slow Down' literally makes millions of mums cry every year and with Mother's Day fast approaching, it’s making the rounds again.

"If you've ever looked at your child running across a field, or striding across a graduation stage, or walking down the middle aisle of a church clutching a bouquet, you'll know why this song is special to me," Nordeman wrote on Facebook alongside the video for her song.

"I don’t know of a more uttered or whispered phrase from a mother of any age, about her child of any age, than 'It’s going by too fast.' I feel like I spend my life trying to slow time," she continued.
