Today TVNZ Breakfast's Hayley Holt is celebrating a major milestone in her sobriety journey.
Proudly sharing a heartfelt message to her friends and family who have helped her on her sobriety journey on the show this morning, the presenter confessed "saying no to booze" was the best decision she has "ever made".
She said: "I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the wonderful people in my life who have stuck by me when the going got tough, you know who you are."
Her fellow Breakfast presenters congratulated her on her five years of sobriety.
"Good on you Hayley," said John Campbell.
Matty McLean told Holt "you should be so proud."
In 2013, the presenter failed an on-air drug test while presenting a radio show, a moment she told The Herald's Canvas magazine was her "biggest low" and a contributing factor that led her to swear off alcohol.

She told TVNZ's Sunday in 2017: "I'd hate to say [I was] violent [when I drank] but I used to kick people and think it was really funny,".
"One of my best friends said, 'I love you Hayley but I don't want to hang out with you when you're drinking,".
Holt got sober with the support of Alcoholics Anonymous and she chose to share her story in the hope of encouraging young people to reconsider their alcohol consumption.
Breakfast is on TVNZ1 weekdays from 6am-9am.
