Watch: America's Got Talent trapeze act goes horribly wrong

As with its British counterpart, America's Got Talent regularly provides viewers with moments to gush and marvel over.
But fans of the show were left gasping in shock during Tuesday night's instalment, as a woman suddenly plummeted to the ground as her husband and partner lost grip of her after their impressive trapeze act went horribly wrong mid-performance.
Judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel watched in horror as Mary was seen falling after her blindfolded spouse Tyce, who is legally blind in his right eye due to a progressive eye disease, lost grip of her in the grand finale.
The shock extended to Mary's mother, who was seen holding the couple's two-year-old son, Jaxx, close as she sat in the audience, before covering her own face.
