On this day in 1977, the legendary Elvis Presley tragically passed away after suffering a heart attack at just 42-years-old.

Less than two months earlier, the King of Rock and Roll performed his last ever concert at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis.

Weighing an incredible 158 kg, his health was sadly going downhill.
