WATCH: The Chase's Shaun Wallace jumps off the Sky Tower in Auckland

The Chase's Shaun Wallace, who is known on the show as the "Dark Destroyer", has been touring around New Zealand for the past week meeting fans and testing Kiwi's knowledge at the 20th annual New Zealand Pub Quiz Championships.

But before the popular Chaser left our shores, there was one bucket list item he wanted to tick off: jumping off the Sky Tower.

Taking the ultimate leap of faith, the 59-year-old TV star experienced 11 seconds of pure adrenaline as he plunged 53 floors down New Zealand's tallest building at a speed of 85kph - and he absolutely loved it.

The visit marks the Dark Destroyer's second trip to New Zealand this year.

Wallace, who also works as a lawyer and part-time lecturer, was last here in February.
