Watch The Incredibly Moving Moment 400 Students Turned Up To Sing To Their Teacher Battling Cancer

Since 2008, Ben Ellis has been teaching Latin at Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville - but for the last year he’s been battling an aggressive form of cancer.

Last week, after hearing he was having a tough time with his treatment, the staff and students from the school gathered outside their much-loved teacher’s house to show him what he meant to them.

‘This was a spur of the moment decision to go.. Students were in the middle of class..some taking quizzes and tests…and dropped everything for a bigger lesson on life, love, community, compassion,’ wrote fellow teacher Leslie Ponder on Facebook.
