Commodores in NZ October 2025

One of the greatest Motown groups is returning to New Zealand for the first time since 1977 for three shows this October.

It’ll be easy like a Sunday morning when The Commodores bring their Greatest Hits Tour to Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch later this year.

Monday, October 20 | Auckland, Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre

Tuesday, October 21 | Wellington, St James Theatre Wellington

Wednesday, October 22 | Christchurch, James Hay Theatre, Town Hall

The Commodores are one of the greatest Motown and R&B/funk artists of all time. Formed in 1968, they have sold over 75 million records worldwide and remained a force in the music industry for over five decades. 

It’s no wonder when you look at some of their famous songs. The concert is sure to include classic hits like Easy, Nightshift, Three Times a Lady, Brick House, Sail On, and many more.
